\nDesigned by the architects Ludovica + Roberto Palomba<\/strong>, based in Milan, in 2011 the Birdie series has become one of the most desirable pieces of the Italian firm Foscarini<\/strong>. After the success in their characteristic colors – white, grey, Orange and amaranth, now arrive two exquisite models with structure and lacquered steel base in copper and black chrome.<\/p>\n

The thin stem of Birdie, as if it were a trunk, widens and leads to a reinterpretation of the classic lamp shade, as a leafy crown. In its single branch, it could well settle a small bird. The lamp takes its name and its creative inspiration from this. However, the branch gives shelter actually a touch switch, which allows you to create a diffuse, directed or strong light.<\/p>\n

It is not trivial that Birdie is monochromatic. In fact, this clean design of Foscarini seeks to represent the continuity between the elements of nature. Birdie Metal<\/strong> version in copper is autumnal stroll towards the glow of Christmas; it will shine in warm interiors and cutting-edge. The lacquered in black chrome is more classic and masculine, perfect for spaces with a contemporary and refined decoration.<\/p>\n

You only will find Birdie Metal<\/strong> in two sizes up to end of the year in the showcase of Biosca&Botey<\/strong>. In the exhibition you can see the finishes of the large table lamp, which has a base of 25 cm and a height of 70 cm; and the small one which has a base of 17 cm and height of 49 cm.
