This pot with solar led light combines a solidarity project, sustainable and technological<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CONSOL SOLAR JAR<\/strong> is a new concept of lighting and decor, which emerges to illuminate a jar of kitchen with LED technolog<\/strong>y through a mini solar panel placed on its cover. A small magnet makes the function “on\/off” in contact with the photovoltaic plate. On the inside of the cover hides a small lithium battery which is loaded with 6-8 hours of sunlight. The stored energy in the battery passes to the 4 LEDs integrated into the circuit, which illuminate the inside of the jar and what is stored on it, creating a wide range of pictures and lighting possibilities. Also works even with artificial light, and it has a mini USB entry if you require electrical charge as an alternative. With the full battery, we will have ten to twelve hours of autonomy of light.<\/p>\n

The CONSOL SOLAR JAR<\/strong> is manufactured in South Africa following the principles of Fair Trade<\/strong>. The people involved in its manufacture come from slums and thanks to this project they get a fair salary and are guaranteed a decent working conditions.<\/p>\n

The jar can be decorated<\/strong> with several decorative motifs (shells, dried flowers, pineapples, Christmas balls…), provided that no liquids are used in contact with the cover. It is a good companion to the children if they are afraid of the darkness. They create a link with the light putting it in charge during the day and turning it on at night – a fun way and pedagogical to learn on solar energy and sustainable resources.<\/p>\n

Another important feature is that the cover is waterproof and stainless steel<\/strong>, so it is suitable for outdoor use, even in the rain. A good solution that allows us to create atmospheres outdoors in suspension, as wall lamp, or simply on the top of a table; its familiar aspect helps to integrate it in an environment of cooking. With an entire load, it can endure all night. Ideal for dinners and intimate atmospheres<\/strong>, transforming it also in a lantern of long autonomy.<\/p>\n
